Renee & Kristina

In mid 2018 we had just met as we were both in the midst of moving our respective families to a new country. We got to know each other and found that we had a common interest (ok, more like a passion) in de-stigmatizing mental health.

With Renee's background in mental health and my business experience, we knew that we needed to do our part in the mental health movement (what other option is there when you have members of your immediate and extended family suffering with mental health issues?!).

By now you all know that we are no BS chicks who love a good laugh. So, we  thought we could use this approach in our delivery of tools and support for you. Listen, there's a ton of heaviness associated with mental health already...let's make it easy to talk about by lightening the conversation. And let's Make Mental Health a Lifestyle !

“Sometimes, when I get nervous, I stick my hands under my armpits and then I smell them like this! “ Mary Catharine Gallager - Saturday Night Live

  • Renee has worked for years in the Mental Health field. She even went as far as getting her post graduate degree on the subject! (that's right, an MSW)
  • She worked with adults and youth in multiple settings, and in individual and group therapy. She's trained in DBT, CBT, ACT, Trauma and Suicide/Crisis support, feels all the feels and likes to make the team cry, but like, in a good way. She's all about “cathartic processing” and group hugs or fist pumps if that suits you better.
